QNS: Forest Hills Stadium announces new fundraising initiative for Queens Community House

QNS: Forest Hills Stadium announces new fundraising initiative for Queens Community House | June 2026: Forest Hills Stadium has announced a new initiative in partnership with non-profit Queens Community House aiming to raise funds for social services across Queens.

“Making Cents for Queens” will see Forest Hills Stadium donate $0.25 of every beer and cocktail it sells throughout the 2026 season to Queens Community House (QCH), which provides services for around 30,000 children, adults and seniors across the borough through workforce programming, LGBTQ support, citizenship classes and meals for seniors, among many other initiatives.

Representatives of the iconic venue said the initiative provides an opportunity for the Queens community to support QCH with each show that takes place there this summer.

Jason Brandt, general manager of Forest Hills Stadium, said the initiative will ensure that every beverage sold at the venue this summer will directly translate into services for children and seniors.

“Forest Hills Stadium has always been more than just a stage; we are deeply woven into the fabric of this community,” Brandt said in a statement. “With ‘Making Cents for Queens,’ we are putting our money where our mouth is.

“Every ticket scanned and every beverage sold directly translates into meals for seniors and early education for our children. We are proud to show that a thriving stadium means a thriving Queens,” he added.

QCH CEO Ben Thomases said the initiative showcases what is possible when local institutions work together.

“Forest Hills Stadium is helping turn moments of entertainment into meaningful support for Queens families, older adults, and young people. Every concert now helps strengthen the community beyond the stadium gates,” Thomases said.

Forest Hills Stadium announced the initiative on the eve of its 2026 season, which kicks off with a performance from indie rock band Bright Eyes this Saturday, June 6.

The 2026 season is stacked full of household names, including Bob Dylan, Paul Simon and Sarah McLachlan.

The venue will also hold the popular “All Things Go” festival across three days in September, featuring performances from Zara Larsson, Carly Rae Jepson and Lola Young.
