Cancellation and Refund Policy

For donations that were wrongfully made (double donations, fraud, etc.), donors are able to receive a full refund for their donation if they contact Queens Community House’s Director of Development within 30 days of the donation date.

For donations and tickets purchased for Queens Community House’s Spring Event or Gala, donations and tickets are non-refundable, unless the situations listed above have occurred. Therefore, if a donor has purchased a ticket to an event, but was not able to attend, they will not qualify for a refund.

For the cancellation of monthly, or yearly, donations the donor is responsible for calling Queens Community House’s Director of Development to cancel their reoccurring donation. Only the process of future donations will be canceled – previous donations will not be refunded, unless the donor mistakenly committed to making monthly donations. In the situation that the donor mistakenly committed to making monthly donations, the donor will have 30 days from the posting of their second monthly, or donation to cancel the reoccurring donation.
