We are seeking a qualified bilingual (English/Bengali) Program Aide with a strong commitment to social services to assist with community outreach at The Queens Childcare Network of Queens Community House. The Queens Childcare Network provides technical assistance and support to family and group family childcare providers. Through home visits, information and referral, education and use of peer role-modeling, the network promotes quality regulated in-home childcare services.

HOUSING SPECIALIST

We are seeking a qualified Housing Specialist with a strong commitment to client service to work in our Eviction Pre-vention Program.  The Eviction Prevention Program assists families that are at-risk of homelessness to maintain their existing housing or those that are homeless to transition into new permanent housing. The ideal candidate must possess knowledge of housing court regulations, entitlements and must be able to develop and cultivate relationships with land-lords, rental agencies, community organizations, and service agencies.

CUSTODIAN

We are seeking a qualified Custodian, reporting to the Supervisor of Maintenance to support the day-to-day cleanliness and safety of QCH’s facilities. The custodian is responsible for the maintenance, care and equipment of internal/external areas by completing specific tasks related to cleaning, plumbing, minor electrical work, carpentry, or other areas of maintenance expertise.
