GROUP LEADER @ POMONOK CENTER

We are seeking a Group Leader with a strong commitment to youth development to work in our Summer Day Camp program that caters to children in Kindergarten to Fifth grade.  The Pomonok Community Center is located on NYCHA’s Pomonok Houses campus in South Flushing. The center currently hosts a senior center, after-school, summer camp and food access programming.  Our program is designed to help young people develop the skills and mindset they need to make in their educational and career settings and become active participants and leaders in their community.

HOUSING SPECIALIST

We are seeking a qualified Housing Specialist with a strong commitment to client service to work in our Eviction Pre-vention Program.  The Eviction Prevention Program assists families that are at-risk of homelessness to maintain their existing housing or those that are homeless to transition into new permanent housing. The ideal candidate must possess knowledge of housing court regulations, entitlements and must be able to develop and cultivate relationships with land-lords, rental agencies, community organizations, and service agencies.
