College Access Counselor

We are seeking a qualified College Access Counselor with a strong commitment to youth development to work in our College Access and Success Program (CASP). The CASP Program has two primary goals: first to work with students who may not be planning to go to college to encourage them to enroll and assist them with the enrollment process; then at the college level work intensively with those students who do enroll to help them persist and succeed in college.The Case Manager serves "at risk youth" at our transfer/alternative high schools in Queens, New York.

Program Assistant (Social Adult Day Services)

We are seeking a qualified Program Assistant with a strong commitment to social services and older adults to work in our Social Adult Day Services (SADS) programs in Forest Hills, NY. QCH offers unique programs for adults age 60 or older who are physically frail, social isolated, and/or memory impaired. The Program Assistant, along with SADS staff, encourages social interaction with program members, which engages otherwise home-bound individuals to participate in educational and recreational activities that increase their confidence and feelings of self-worth.

Family Engagement Specialist

QCH has operated the Pomonok Community Center, located on NYCHA’s Pomonok Houses campus in south Flushing, since 2006. The center currently hosts a senior center, after-school and summer camp, and food access programming. The center reaches several hundred Pomonok residents daily. QCH's intent is to dramatically increase the positive impact of our work at Pomonok Houses.
