We are seeking a qualified Site Director with a strong commitment to youth development to work at PS 86. Our COMPASS Program at PS 86 has a rich history and has been running for over 20 years. The program is a comprehensive year-round youth development program (after school, holiday and summer components). Our program is designed to help young people develop the skills and mindset they need to make in their educational and career settings and become active participants and leaders in their community.

Program Assistant (Social Adult Day Services)

We are seeking a qualified Program Assistant with a strong commitment to social services and older adults to work in our Social Adult Day Services (SADS) programs in Forest Hills, NY. QCH offers unique programs for adults age 60 or older who are physically frail, social isolated, and/or memory impaired. The Program Assistant, along with SADS staff, encourages social interaction with program members, which engages otherwise home-bound individuals to participate in educational and recreational activities that increase their confidence and feelings of self-worth.

The Queens Community House Eviction Prevention Program assists families who are receiving public assistance and are in danger of becoming homeless or are homeless and searching for permanent housing. We are seeking a qualified Data Coordinator with a strong sense of ownership, technical and analytical capabilities that will be responsible for collecting, reviewing and inputting a high volume of participant service, demographic, and outcome data into a Homeless Management Information System (HMIS). Volunteer Coordinator

We are seeking a qualified Volunteer Coordinator with a strong commitment to service and civic responsibility. S/he will work to coordinate our new “Friendly Visiting” Volunteer Program and more broadly support our network of programs through active volunteer recruitment and engagement. “Friendly Visiting” provides volunteers to visit older adults in QCH’s Senior Case Management Program on a regular basis for the purpose of reducing isolation, providing companionship and monitoring general well-being.

Family Engagement Specialist

QCH has operated the Pomonok Community Center, located on NYCHA’s Pomonok Houses campus in south Flushing, since 2006. The center currently hosts a senior center, after-school and summer camp, and food access programming. The center reaches several hundred Pomonok residents daily. QCH's intent is to dramatically increase the positive impact of our work at Pomonok Houses. QCH's goal is to achieve measurable improvements in the lives of individuals, families, and the entire development through community engagement and holistic services.

Queens Community House (QCH) oversees a Learning to Work transfer school, VOYAGES Preparatory HS, located at August Martin High School Campus. Our program supports 200 young adults ages 16 to 21 to graduate high school with a developed postsecondary plan. The Director of Counseling will be responsible for supervising case management and taking the primary role as clinical Social Worker, managing a small caseload for the most atrisk students.
