CENSUS OUTREACH WORKER (TEMPORARY)

Queens Community House (QCH) is seeking qualified Census Outreach Worker with a strong commitment to civic responsibility and passion for community outreach. The Census Outreach Worker will support the work across our broad network of programming engaging participants, and the community at large, in Census 2020 participation. Specific focus will be placed on increasing Census return rates in the historically undercounted communities where QCH has program hubs.

EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Queens Community House (QCH) is seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant to support the Executive Team (comprised of the Executive Director and 5 additional C-Level personnel). The Executive Administrative Assistant will report to the Chief Operating Officer and generally features a 9 am-5 pm schedule from Monday-Friday, however, the Assistant must demonstrate flexibility during special events which may require some evenings or weekends. This position works out of our Forest Hills Community Center (108-25 62nd Drive, Queens, NY).

GROUP LEADERS & ACTIVITY SPECIALISTS (BEACON PROGRAMS)

Beacon programs are collaborative school-based youth and community development centers serving children age six and older, and adults of all ages. The Beacon operates Monday-Friday from 1:30 PM-9:30 PM, Saturdays from 9 AM-5 PM, and during school holidays, school recesses and in the summer from 8 AM-6 PM. Our Beacon is designed to help young people develop the skills and the mindset they need to succeed in their educational and career settings, and to become active participants and leaders in their community.

CASE MANAGER

Queens Community House (QCH) is seeking a qualified Case Manager with a strong commitment to social services and working with older adults. Case Management services help older persons with functional impairments gain access to appropriate services, benefits and entitlements needed to age safely at home and maintain their quality of life. Case Managers do so by developing trusting relationships with the clients and their caregivers and engaging them in a collaborative process of problem solving.

Queens Community House seeks a Facilities Operations Manager to serve in an essential administrative role in our Operations/Maintenance Department. The Facilitates Operations Manager will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer on forthcoming renovation and new construction projects across the Borough.
