Meet Your Neighbor: Antonia Exinvil

“I’ve been a part of this neighborhood since I was little. I live in the building right next to the Pomonok Community Center, so I’ve been volunteering and helping out here for as long as I can remember.

“Right now I work with the Youth Food Justice Leadership Program. Every week is something fun and different. We help with the Farmers Market, take care of the garden, and teach kids in the after school program about healthy eating habits. It keeps us all fit and doing right by our bodies.

“I’ve known everyone here for years and the vibe is always so good. The Pomonok Center is really the foundation for the community. We learn from each other and we are not afraid to try new things. We take care of everyone, no matter where they are in life.”
