Support Queens Community House
Queens Community House provides individuals and families with the tools to enrich their lives and build healthy, inclusive communities.
Our Social Adult Day Services programs offer support, social engagement, and therapeutic activities to older adults who are physically frail, socially isolated and/or memory-impaired. These programs are ideal for individuals who live at home, but need a little bit of extra support and/or companionship during the day. They also provide respite to family members and other caregivers.
QCH has more than 30 years of experience providing high-quality social day care services in a safe, warm, and welcoming environment. With the support of trained and caring staff, participants engage in supervised educational and recreational activities that increase their confidence and feelings of self-worth. Our programs can also allow them to remain active members of the community for as long as possible. A hot, fully balanced lunch and nutritious snacks are served daily, and field trips and special events are planned throughout the year. Transportation, case assistance, and other support services are available as needed.
QCH offers two distinct program models:
Our program is temporarily located at the Kew Gardens Community Center (80-02 Kew Gardens Road, Ste 202, Kew Gardens, NY 11415) during the Forest Hills Community Center renovation. Please call us at 718-592-5757 ext. 230 for our zoom program schedule until renovations are completed.
