Community Matters: April 2026

Our latest Community Matters newsletter celebrates the power of community, connection, and legacy across Queens.

• Our middle school students brought the energy at a borough-wide multi-sport tournament—showcasing teamwork, school pride, and a little “Stephen Curry”-inspired competition.
• Nearly 300 neighbors came together in Jackson Heights for our Spring Wellness Fair, enjoying a day of movement, resources, and intergenerational connection (rain and all!).
• And as we wrap up our 50 for 50 series, Jim Drinane reflects on QCH’s early days—building community during a time of crisis and helping lay the foundation for what the organization is today.
