Invest in the Future of Queens - Forest Hills Community Center Renovation Project

Queens Community House is undergoing a massive project to renovate our original community center in Forest Hills. This renovation project will turn our most active program site into a state-of-the-art facility that can continue to be there for Queens for years to come. The new space will be brighter and more welcoming, with enhanced programming rooms, upgraded infrastructure, and an elevator and other accessibility features. The move will also free up space at the Center for additional program use, including a Neighbors’ Lounge off the front lobby and small meeting rooms to ensure participants’ privacy.

After receiving generous support from government grants and private funders, we have entered the final stages of our fundraising for this $15 million project. We now must secure the final funds needed for the furniture, equipment, and preparation of our new space. Will you be a part of securing a community center for the Forest Hills community?

How you can Invest in the future?

There are many different ways to support this renovation project and to leave a lasting mark on our Forest Hills Community Center.

  1. Work with the Development Team to spearhead a fundraiser with your network, employer or affinity group;
  2. Make a donation. Any donation of $1,000 or more will be recognized on the new Center’s donor wall;
  3. Make a pledge to the campaign (pledges of $2,500 or more are payable over three years)
  4. Consider a naming opportunity in honor or in memory of a loved one (naming opportunity)
