Queens Childcare Network

This 20 year-old program works with Family and Group Family childcare providers, and the families they serve, to strengthen and enhance the quality of childcare services throughout the borough of Queens. Network staff includes professionals with extensive experience, training and certification.

Network activities include: classroom training for new providers, observation and evaluation of childcare environments, nutrition training and supervision of meals, a lending library of children’s toys, equipment, videos and books and training materials for providers; and information and referral provided to parents.

All Providers participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), a FREE federal program that provides healthy meals and snacks to children receiving day care.

We have providers in Forest Hills, Rego Park, Kew Gardens, Middle Village, Woodhaven, Ozone Park, Richmond Hill, Jamaica, Fresh Meadows, Ridgewood, Glendale, Corona, Jackson Heights, East Elmhurst, Elmhurst, Flushing, Bayside, Sunnyside and Woodside

The Queens Childcare Network is a member of United Neighborhood Houses’ Neighborhood Networks for Family Child Care. QCHCCN was founded with assistance from Child Care, Inc., a citywide organization serving child care interests in New York City.
